BFA Introduces Australian Clients To Key Suppliers At ChinaPlas 2011
May 2011
Asia’s No.1 Plastics industry tradeshow was held in Guangzhou in late May with over 2,400 exhibitors catering for every aspect of the plastics and rubber industry. BFA’s Nick Fergus and Stuart White were there to liaise with Australian clients on behalf of their key alliance partners Borch, AFS, Hosakwa Alpine and Kundig.
“We were able to introduce clients to the development engineers, production designers and to the latest technology for the plastics industry,” said Nick Fergus, Director of BFA. “What helped our clients was the strong relationship BFA has with its alliance partners, allowing us to give our clients access to the leading thinkers in the field of machinery development, innovation in technology and processes.”
Stuart White, account manager of BFA’s Plastics Division observed, “Australian manufacturers are looking for a competitive edge; looking for new efficiencies in development of products that are niche to the world. Cracking the world market for these niche products and components means big export dollars for Australian companies.”
BFA has been attending ChinaPlas over the past 10 years and has seen some significant changes in the production equipment; quality assurance in production output and a strong push to enhance production safety.
By attending ChinaPlas 2011, BFA aims to ensure that it is conversant in the latest product, production techniques and builds relationships with its strategic partners. This knowledge is then shared with our clients in Australia and form part of an ongoing dialogue to enhance the performance of our clients.
“Gone are the days where a company such as BFA sold a client a new piece of machinery and a maintenance contract. Our clients engage with BFA as a strategic resource tapping into the 1,000 plus years of experience of our 40 plus engineers, service personnel and technicians. This allows our clients to develop greater efficiencies in their production and making them more competitive in the world market” said Nick Fergus.
